- Born in Senta, on 4 November 1944. Graduated in 1968, at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, obtained his master’s degree in 1976, and obtained his doctoral degree in 1980, at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade.

Areas of Research
Psychology of bilingual and multilingual individuals and groups, psycholinguistics and sociolinguistics of minority communities, psychology of upbringing and education, methodology of psychological research. He had 4 monographs published, and 120 scientific papers. He synthesized a wide spectrum of results in several fields, and contributed to the introduction of a new field of research, the Psychology of Bilingualism. Visiting Professor at the University of Szeged 1993-95; Professor of Doctoral Studies in Pécs and Veszprém. Advanced training at Universities in Canada; 40 papers at congresses; 100 lectures at conferences and platforms of professional associations and at several universities upon invitation. Index of Scientific Competence 250. Has 200 citations.
