Tokom ove dve godine organizovano je mnogo skupova gde su članovi VANU bili predsedavajući Organizacionih i Naučnih Odbora ili članovi borda. Većina konferencija je bila međunarodna i finansirana od strane Ministarstva za nauku i tehnološki razvoj Republike Srbije i asocijacija EU.
